Silverjet plans new hub in UAE
Silverjet, the British business-class-only airline, said it is considering setting up a new hub in either Dubai or Abu Dhabi after receiving a $100 million cash injection from a UAE-based investor.

Emirates on runway for extra flights
The Australian Government is expected to decide if it will permit Emirates Airlines to fly 16 daily services to Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth by 2014, a decision which would boost the UAE carrier's plans to become the biggest foreign airline flying to Australia.
