Air Berlin to buy Condor from Thomas Cook
German low-cost carrier Air Berlin said Thursday it would buy the carrier Condor from travel giant Thomas Cook, after swallowing two national rivals in less than a year.

HLX and Hapagfly merge to become TUIfly
German low cost airlines HLX and Hapagfly have merged to become TUIfly. TUI now operates the third-largest German fleet after Lufthansa and Air Berlin.
