Cathay Pacific orders 10 Boeing 747-8 freighters, 7 777s
Hong Kong's Cathay Pacific Airways has ordered 10 of Boeing Co.'s new 747-8 cargo planes and seven long-range 777 passenger jets, the companies said Thursday.

Cathay Pacific's Profit Surges 55% on China Travel
Cathay Pacific Airways Ltd., Asia's second-most profitable carrier, said first-half profit rose 55 percent, beating analysts' estimates, after it bought a rival to expand in China, the world's fastest-growing major economy.
