China Southern Airlines reports 49 pct jump in 3Q net profit
China Southern Airlines Co. Ltd., the country's largest carrier by fleet size, reported a sharp rise in third quarter net profit Thursday, but gave no reason for the increase.

China Southern Airlines to buy 45 jets from Airbus, Boeing
China Southern Airlines Co. said late Monday it agreed to buy 20 A320 jets from Airbus and 25 B737-800 planes from Boeing Co. to increase its operating capacity.
