Boeing signs deals for 12 Dreamliners with Vietnam
Vietnam and US aircraft maker Boeing on Friday signed deals for twelve 787-8 Dreamliners to help the state-run carrier modernise its fleet and meet surging air travel demand.

Vietnam Airlines told to finalise Boeing, Airbus deals
Vietnam on Friday ordered the state-run airline to finalise contracts before the end of the year with Airbus and Boeing to buy planes with a total catalogue price of nearly six billion dollars.

Vietnam Airlines Plans to Buy Jets
In an order split between fierce rivals, Vietnam Airlines has said it plans to buy 10 long range, mid size Airbus A350s while adding to a previous order for Boeing 787s, the aircraft makers said Monday.

Airbus sees demand for A380 in Vietnam as early as 2012-2013
A senior Airbus executive said Sunday that he could see Vietnam Airlines using the new A380 as early as 2012-2013 as the world's biggest passenger plane arrived in Hanoi on a promotional tour.

Vietnam Airlines to get more planes and try e-ticket
Vietnam Airlines has said that it expects to add 21 more planes to its fleet and will trial e-ticketing on its Hanoi-Ho Chi Minh City route.
