The ancient city of Ayuthaya is a great place to visit. If you are in Bangkok you should take a day trip up there. I was there earlier this year and enjoyed seeing the Head Of The Sandstone Buddha Image. Thanks for bringing back the memory.
Ayuthaya does make a great day trip from Bangkok if you only have a short time in Thailand. I was there in february, The Flying Critic maybe we crossed paths?
