Full Moon Party Thailand
The full moon party on Koh Phangan, Thailand has gone from a small backpackers party to an international event that is included in package holidays and is even featured on postcards.
A popular way of getting there is by speed boat from from the neighbouring Koh Samui.

Ben and Jerry's Sundae

Sundae on the Common
A trend that has developed in the last few years in London are these company sponsored mini festivals. £5 is an amazing deal to see all these bands. A donation really. With free ice cream you could eat 5 pounds in weight or currency and that has paid for your day.

Amma "the hugging saint" Australian Tour
Amma, AKA the hugging saint is on a tour of Australia. I went to her Melbourne appearance out of curiosity, and thus became one of her 24 million hugees to date.

Notting Hill Carnival - London
The Notting Hill Carnival takes place at the end of August and attracts over one million people, making it one of the largest street festivals in Europe. The small streets of West London are packed in to watch the Caribbean flavoured parade.
