I recently had it suggested to me that Greece was a cheaper alternative to Italy, it certainly has plenty of the same feel to it. Don’t let the Greeks hear you say that.

A fun thing we did while visiting Mallorca was to rent a car (was not as expensive as I thought it would be) in Palma de Mallorca and then follow along the coast heading northeast to the other side of the island. We first headed to Port de Soller and eventually followed the coastal road to Badia de Pollenca. Soller and Pollenca have some beautiful beaches and the various views you will see along the way are spectacular.

Great blog. I was in Cape Town in November 2011 and loved every minute of it. We saw all of the animals on your list, bar the camels. Driving through the national park to Cape Point we had Ostrich babies walking in the middle of the road, followed by a lone tortoise. I stroked a cheetah at Spier Winery which was amazing. We travelled up to Aquila Game Reserve, located about 2 hours from Cape Town, and went out on a horseback safari, which is one of the best experiences I have ever had. A truly incredible place to visit.

I have always read about penguins in South Africa and have always wondered where to find them, my wife and I went on a safari holiday last year and didn’t manage to spot any.

I really appreciate this guidelines. While I’m planning for a a ski trip, I always keep some extra road time. Sometimes due to atmospheric conditions, it might take me longer to reach the destination so I always remember to keep the hotel check-in time in mind before leaving.

Awesome! Haven’t seen this movie yet. But definitely will include it in my list of must-see films, one – because I love the actors in the film particularly “Scar Jo” (Scarlett Johansson), whose most films I’ve watched except with this one, and two – I’m curious about Woody Allen’s produced film this time. Too bad though, I missed out the contest period but perhaps watching the film may give me that kind feeling as I have actually won it.
