Notes from the editor
Happy new year everyone. I'm not one to do new year resolutions, but I have resolved that I will start the iTravelnet newsletter after much delay.
I'm back home in Australia after having spent the last year and a half working in Ireland and Switzerland. Without the continental travel distractions I now have no excuse to not put out a newsletter once a month. So far the features of the newsletter will include:
Guerrilla Backpacker, which focuses on free or ridiculously cheap travel deals.
Travel Quotes. Always good for inspiration, so feel free to send in quotes you have read.
Feature Website. I am compiling a list of unique and interesting travel sites that are non commercial by nature. Once again feel free to send in any suggestions. This months feature site on air sickness bags is one such good example.
I will add more features as the newsletter evolves. I can be contacted at editor@itravelnet.com .
Thanks
James Clark

Travel Quote of the Month
"I am so convinced of the advantages of looking at mankind instead of reading about them, and of the bitter effects of staying at home with all the narrow prejudices of an Islander, that I think there should be a law amongst us to set our young men abroad for a term among the few allies our wars have left us."
