Roller Cops
Rollerblading Cops in Paris - It's not as camp as it sounds. Notre Dame Notre Dame. Sunset. Enough said.
The magnificent Gargoyles of Notre Dame. Eternally Parisian A man of leisure, even in death. (Some old guy - église Saint-Germain des Près) The Catacombs of Paris. In 1786 and for many decades after, 5 to 6 million "people" were relocated from the overcrowded cemeteries to the empty limestone quarries outside of Paris. Montmartre Basilique du Sacré Coeur from my window. Bon Appetit They eat horses, don't they? ...and snails? ...and frogs? (OK, so this was a picture outside an English Pub, but they do eat frogs - I just couldn't find any pictures of frogs sitting in wheelchairs with their legs missing.) Shakespeare and Company Possibly the greatest English language bookshop in the world. Shakespeare and Company on the river Seine, opposite the Notre Dame. A haven for the Français challenged and a last chance saloon for anglo travellers to stock up on English books before heading further into deepest Europe. Those wacky Germans - #4 in a Series Another busload of Germans are deposited in Paris. So 60 years later and Parisian's can still be heard to exclaim "Look at all those Fückers from Germany".
