Las Vegas Sands own and operate this casino (it was built on the site of the former Sands Hotel), and costs anything from $500 up to $10,000 a night. Opened in 1999, The Venetian features over 4,000 rooms, and is themed on the famous Italian city of the same name, Venice. The casino contains the only Las Vegas sportsbooks which is open around the clock, a wedding chapel, nightclubs, and regularly offers up live concerts and shows alongside its gambling entertainment.
This is another luxury hotel and casino resort. The Bellagio is famous having appeared in many television series and films. The casino is themed on the city of the same name, and first opened back in 1998. With 3,950 rooms costing anything up to $3,000 a night, it is one of the cheaper luxury resorts you can stay at in Vegas. The Bellagio contains one of the leading poker rooms in Vegas, and many pro poker players make it their base of their operations. So many do so, in fact, that it has been called “home base” or “the office”, largely in part due to its high-stakes game, the Big Game. The casino’s famous fountains are known across the globe, and the casino also boasts an impressive conservatory and botanical gardens.
This tropical themed casino first opened in 1999, it has seen some cracking shows hosted at its venue, including Chicago, Mamma Mia, the Lion King, and Michael Jackson: One. The hotel and casino is owned and operated by MGM Resorts International, and there are three exclusive floors of penthouses at this venue. Hotels include the AAA five-diamond, Delano, and the Four Seasons hotels. This casino comes equipped with a Shark Reef Aquarium, convention center, sky bridge, ice lounge, Guinness store, even centre, 24 restaurants, a dozen nightclubs, and has appeared in films and shows such as Ocean’s Eleven, The Hangover, and Modern Family.
Wynn Las Vegas
Wynn Las Vegas is one of the newer luxury casino resorts in Las Vegas. It opened in 2005, and covers some 111,000 square feet. Even with over 2,700 rooms, it has one of the smaller hotels on the Vegas Strip. There is no exterior “lure” to bring in the players at this resort, which instead lay claim to being the tallest hotel in Vegas when it launched. The casino once held a Ferrari-Maserati car dealership, has the largest distribution of HD-TV hotel rooms in the world, and features a Lake of Dreams. A Paradise Park is set to open in 2020. The Wynn Las Vegas is also the home to the Intrigue nightclub, and over a dozen restaurants, as well as a golf club.
This easily one of the most famous Vegas casinos of them all. It is also one of the oldest. It first opened in 1975, and in its over 40 years of existence, it has been a leading player in the city’s gambling scene. The MGM Grand covers 171,500 square feet, carries over 5,000 rooms, and permanently runs a David Copperfield show. The MGM Grand is the third largest casino resort complex in the world, and the USA’s biggest hotel. Some of the finest restaurants in the world are also present at the casino, resort. Even though it is one of the most luxurious hotels in the USA, standard rooms vary from $79 to $499 a night, whilst luxury rooms cost between $275 and $2,500 a night. There are also 29 villas at the MGM Grand for casino-invited guests, and these can range from five-grand up to $30,000 a night.
