The Rickshaw Run is a race in India using the iconic Indian motorised rickshaws. The race is on twice a year, once in the Summer and once in the Winter just after Christmas. The Summer event launches on the 1st June 2008.

Singapore Changi Airport opens Terminal 3 on 9 January 2008. The terminal will have 28 aerobridge gates, with eight capable of handling the Airbus A380.

It will increase the airport's maximum passenger capacity annually by 22 million, bringing the total annual capacity up to 70 million passengers.
