Experience Ireland

June 14, 2011 By itravelnet.com

Ireland is a beautiful place from its green valleys and quaint little roads, to its larger towns and cities all with a unique character. For example, the city of Galway is a popular destination, with its cute winding streets and abundance of coffee shops. Located on the west coast, this is as great a place as any to experience Ireland at its best.

If you are going to visit Ireland you are in for a treat. There are so many beautiful places, including Killarney in the South West. This area is a very popular destination for people to visit and this is where the Ring of Kerry begins. A gorgeously scenic tourist trail, this is a must-see.

If you decide to visit, there are lots of different types of accommodation available. As with many destinations, hotel rooms in Ireland range from luxury to more affordable. For something reasonably priced and suited to all the family, why not try Travelodge. These are located in Derry, Belfast, Dublin, Galway, Limerick, Waterford and Cork.

To really indulge yourself, head to Dublin and stay in The Westin Dublin. In this capital city, you will find this 5 star hotel on its own city block. It is a ‘green hotel’, with a ‘Platinum Award’ which is the best available of the Green Hospitality Awards. Not only this, but 163 rooms for guests and in-room spa treatments will surely top off your stay nicely. To find out more about this hotel, visit http://www.thewestindublin.com/.

There are a lot of reasonably priced hostels in Ireland, if you want to spend more time out exploring. The website www.hostelbookers.com is a great place to start and you will be guaranteed to find enough options. For example, one of the cheapest hostels on this site is the Backpackers D1 Hostel Dublin, for £7.08 per person, per night, in a shared room. There is a lot more choice and it is usually pretty easy to gage the quality of accommodation based on its price range.

Ireland is a beautiful and friendly place. If you are planning a visit, click here for more information, and enjoy!
